1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute an agreement between you and the inkVideo operator regarding the use of inkVideo software and related services ("Services"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the software, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms.

2. Service Description

inkVideo is a media player that provides services including but not limited to:

  • Multi-format audio/video playback;
  • AI subtitle translation and speech recognition;
  • Toolbox features like screenshots, screen recording, audio extraction;
  • Online account sync and community interaction;
  • Technical support and software updates.

We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. Account Registration

Some features require an account. When registering, please:

  • Provide true, accurate, and complete information;
  • Keep your account and password secure — you are responsible for all activities under your account;
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access;
  • Not lend, transfer, or share your account with others.

We are not responsible for losses due to improper account security.

4. Acceptable Use

When using our services, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
  • Infringe on others' rights (including IP, privacy, etc.);
  • Distribute illegal, harmful, harassing, infringing, or otherwise objectionable content;

The inkVideo software, documentation, UI design, and trademarks are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights belong to inkVideo or its respective owners.

Without written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially use any part of the software.

Media content you play or process through the software remains the property of its respective rights holders. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, express or implied, regarding availability, accuracy, or completeness;
  • We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the service;
  • AI translation and recognition results are for reference only — accuracy not guaranteed, do not use for critical decisions;
  • We are not responsible for content or services on third-party links.

7. Service Changes & Termination

We may change, suspend, or terminate any part of the service at any time (due to technical issues, security risks, legal requirements, etc.). Material changes will be announced in advance via website or email.

If you violate these Terms, we may terminate your account immediately without refund (if applicable).

8. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, submit to the People's Court at the operator's location.
